Why have my new LED Christmas lights gone out? - noma christmas trees

If we have only 12 (70strand) Noma LED Icicle 2 weeks ago and worked fine until tonight. Now only about 3 or 4 lines of work and rest is all. My husband has a ladder and looked and found nothing abnormal. He pulled the plug and did not return. What could be the problem?
